Who we are
NEW DAWN AFRICA FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization currently headquartered in Entebbe (Wakiso District), from where it extends services to the target beneficiaries.
Our dream is to cover as many areas as possible with a mandate of improving lives one at a time. We expect to extend to other parts of Uganda and Africa at large as the need may arise.
The project has a long term vision of uplifting the livelihoods of the under privileged people in its area of operation with initial emphasis on children infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS scourge.
Our challenge at New Dawn Africa is to successfully carry out small scale projects focused on individuals that may have an effective impact on the community.
As an NGO, our work is based on five key factors:
✔ Focus: it is of essential importance to ensure that our programme works both with the children as individuals and with their families as part of the community of Wakiso District.
✔ Coverage: with the resources that we have, we ensure that we reach as many key people and groups as possible in Wakiso, so that our programme is as efficient as possible in terms of coverage.
✔ Quality: from the beginning, we have carried out activities and interventions that are appropriate to the local context and our target group, and are of a consistently high standard.
✔ Sustainability: all of us at New Dawn Africa ensure that the organisation, its programme and its effects last over time. We’re not here for a Saturday, there’s no deadline.
✔ Impact: we ensure that our programme really makes a difference, in terms of HIV/AIDS (prevention and/or) care, among community members.
NEW DAWN AFRICA FOUNDATION has been founded on Christian and humanitarian values to help the less privileged in Uganda and beyond.
