"The new dawn blooms as we free it,

for there is always light if we're brave enough to see it,

if only we're brave enough to be it!"

-Amanda Gorman

New DAWN Africa , Inc.

-a 501(c)3 non profit corporation-

was created in response to the dire need for maternal healthcare in Dandora,

a community on the Eastern edge of Nairobi, Kenya.

We facilitated the construction of

Brother Andre Hospital (formerly Visitation Maternity),

a state of the art award winning level 3 Hospital,

on the grounds of Holy Cross Parish, Dandora.

We support the efforts of BAH staff through strategic initiatives.

Delivering healthy babies daily!

To address social injustice and promote empowerment by:

DELIVERING quality, compassionate, holistic Maternal-Child

healthcare to the marginalized

PROVIDING a platform where resources and need intersect

BUILDING solidarity and informed advocacy

To NURTURE a thriving community of

physical, spiritual, and emotional WELLNESS

through the platform of strategic healthcare initiatives

"One thing we know for sure is that interventions for maternal care saves lives.

Specifically, the recommended prenatal visits, having an assisted delivery, and access to a clean, safe facility for giving birth all contribute to reducing mortality risk for mothers and babies. Healthy mothers and babies translate into WELLNESS for an entire community.”
